Having been brought up around the accounting industry Thomas started doing taxes in 1961. From 1961 to 1982 he worked as an associate for John Wozny Tax Service a family owned and operated business located in the south suburbs of Chicago. In 1983 he branched off on his own and formed Thomas C. Wozny & Associates, a professional company. He later formed Tax Inc., Of Illinois to further expand the company’s operations.
Thomas is a seasoned tax consultant with a great deal of diverse knowledge, interests and experiences from which to draw insight, produce solutions, and formulate decisions. He has been preparing taxes for individuals, businesses, corporations both non-for-profit and for profit, trusts estates and partnerships since 1961.
Thomas has been voted “Man of the Year” by the Southtown Star and local communities. He has served as the Illinois Chairman for the President’s Advisory Board during the last four years of the Bush Administration. He also served on the taskforce to reform our current tax system from 2004 through 2008.
Thomas is recognized for his insight and expertise on the most complex tax conditions. He is involved heavily in his local community and serves on several community boards in addition to being a deacon of his church. Also, Thomas is involved in several charitable organizations.
